The objective of this session is to help you learn about the significant income tax law changes for 2008 and how they will affect the filing season.

NOTE: This seminar was presented and recorded prior to the "Emergency Economic Stabilization Act of 2008" (Public Law 110-343) and the "Worker, Retiree, and Employer Recovery Act of 2008" (Public Law 110-458), and therefore are not reflected in this recording.

The new laws revise Slides 20, 37 through 41, and related information. Updated information is available on www.irs.gov, including Highlights of 2008 Tax Law Changes: Tax Breaks Renewed, Recovery Rebate Credit, Homeowner Relief with tax information on the alternative minimum tax, expired tax provisions, and some of the extended tax provisions.
