Form 990, Information Return Workshop
Disclaimer: This seminar was filmed in Orlando, Florida, on August 6, 2008, and the information was correct at the time of recording
After almost 30 years, the IRS issued a new Form 990, the annual information return filed by charities and other tax-exempt organizations. The new form, which will be used for the 2008 tax year (for returns filed in 2009), is significantly different from the current form. This workshop covers the major changes made to the form, new information organizations will need to provide and the phase-in filing period.
This interactive seminar was presented by the IRS Tax Exempt and Government Entities (TEGE) Division, Exempt Organizations at the IRS Nationwide Tax Forums. It was filmed in Orlando, FL in August 2008.
